Amsterdam based, spanish percussionist, composer and creator Enric Monfort graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Conservatori Superior de Castelló, Amsterdam Percussion Group Institute, Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Conservatoire of Luxembourg.

His compositions and installations are generally defined by a strong poetic aproach and the use of spatialization of sound as a dramaturgic element. In the last years, Monfort has been interested in the exploration of monochromic sounds, which can be heard also in his projects “32º 49' Latitud Sud” or“La Reina del Metal” and a strong connection with sculptural or visual elements is generally found in his work.
As a creator, he has presented his works in venues like Museo CAB Burgos, Centre del Carme (CCCC) València, Espai d’Art Contemporani de Castelló (EACC), CaixaForum Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Zaragoza, Temporada Alta Girona, La Alhóndiga Bilbao, Teatros del Canal Madrid, Teatre Lliure Barcelona, Rotondes Luxembourg, Teatro Principal Valencia, Teatro Principal Castelló, Teatro Principal Palma de Mallorca, Flamenco Biennale Nederland,…

As a performer, Enric works with Slagwerk den Haag since 2008 and has been involved in most of the collaborations with dance company Club Guy and Roni. He is member of Black Pencil, Duometrie and Postland and has played extensively with most ensembles and orchestras in both
the Netherlands and Spain. As a soloist, he's performed in The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark,Spain, South Korea, Turkey and Austria.

Enric’s wide musical interests has brought him to collaborate with artists like B.C.Manjunath, Veenfabriek, Vanesa Aibar, Shaun Tan, Jose Antonio Portillo, Raphael Vanoli, Arcángel, Timuçin Sahin, Louis Aguirre and a long list of composers. He has also created shows like this Library of
Sounds and Noises with J.A Portillo, Tierra (with Antonio Canales, Jorge Pardo and Eva Durán), Tales from Outer Suburbia to name just a few, and written dance, theater and film music, like the one for Neckan by Gonzalo Tapia.

He teaches at Percusons Percussion Academy (Valencia) and Art of the Collective Imagination (Izmir).





José Antonio Portillo
is a school teacher who, by causalities or coincidences, ended exploring others territories: creation of narrative spaces, author and director of his own theatre creations, inventor of objects and books to narrate knowledge and experiences. With an eclectic formation began to be known with his "Gadgets to tell and create stories" that were presented for the first time in Spain: Festival Teatralia 1998 and Europe : Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, London and Teatro Piccolo di Milano 2001. (Teatro Strehler. Festival dei Bambini). His particular vision of the world of childhood and its projects in the world of pedagogy attracted attention to the Belem Cultural Center of Lisbon where he was invited to participate during the years 2002 - 2004 in the project European Route: European Art Project for um Jovem public. There the successful projects were created Artistic: "Museum of Time" and “Library of ropes and knots. "The Library of ropes and knots, as of
today, it has toured Europe for 17 years and Spain, receiving an enthusiastic reception from the public, both youth and adults:  SBC Southbank - Royal Festival Hall, Londres, Het Paleis de Anvers, Cuatrienal de Arquitectura y Escenografía Teatral. Praga, Festival Zona Franca. Teatro delle Briciole. Parma, Teatre Lliure Barcelona, Teatro El Musical de Valencia, Festival Temporada Alta Girona, Azkuna Zentroa Bilbao, Teatre Principal de Palma, Teatre Principal Valencia.....
His community art works: “Organic paths”, "Archive of emotional gestures" and "Museum of Time"
have been produced by festivals and institutions of great prestige, besides being shown in Europe and Spain: Evora, Nanterre, Viseu, Macba Bareclona, Lleida, Olot, Arriaga Bilbao Theater, Teatralia Madrid …… In 2016, together with Enric Monfort, he created the project “Library of sounds and noises” in co-production with the Valencia Institute of Culture, ADDA of Alicante and Fundación Caja Burgos . Since its premiere it has not stopped receiving complimentary critics and being programmed in the spaces of most prestigious level: Teatre Lliure, Temporada Alta Girona, Teatros del Canal Madrid, Auditorio de Alicante, Teatre Principal Palma, Azkuna Zentroa, CAB Burgos…, and in 2020 starts its international journey at Rotondes Luxemburg. He has been a finalist on several occasions at the Max Awards, He has participated in the Architecture Quarter and Theatrical scenery of Prague and has received different Awards: Best Children's Arts Award
